Our Services
Consultations
Hospital Consultation: Our doctors are available for consultation at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, StoneSprings Hospital Center, and the Wound Healing Center at Inova Loudon Hospital. As Infectious Disease specialists, our services are requested by hospitalists and primary care physicians.
Office Consultation: We make every effort to schedule an appointment within 7 days of your initial request. If you feel a consult is emergent, please inform our appointment specialist and one of our medical personnel will speak with you to triage the visit. We ask that you arrive promptly for your appointment. Any labs, X-rays, or other reports should be gathered and sent to our office prior to your appointment. If your insurance company requires a referral, please obtain it and bring it to your visit.
Nursing Home Consultation: For elderly patients who cannot be seen in our office, a doctor's visit to select nursing homes can be arranged. Please understand that we are not in these facilities on a daily basis. We require a family member to be present during the initial evaluation to help provide patient information.
IV Infusion Therapy
Serious infections are managed with intravenous (IV) antibiotics. IV infusion can be arranged in your home or, depending on your insurance coverage, in our office Infusion Center.
Virtual Visit
Our office can provide virtual Tele-Medicine Consults to evaluate your symptoms using your smartphone or laptop computer. Your device must have the ability for video conferencing. Please call our office to arrange a Virtual Visit with one of our doctors.
We will charge your insurance company if they cover Virtual Visits. We also accept credit card payments of $45.00 for a limited evaluation.
